This sample demonstrates the built-in capability of WebFlyPostBackManager to perform some User Interface interactions in AJAX style programmatically (avoiding page full refresh).

Although WebFlyPostBackManager's main purpose is to exchange data between client and server, the control can also be used to refresh a specific page contents (i.e., a server control) from client side call without page full postback. This functionality is available only in WebForm mode (ServiceType = WebForm) since the WebForm mode is built around the FlyPostBackManager architecture and hence inherit advanced features and functionalities already available in the architecture.

Summary:

You can access to other controls' values during the fly postback by specifying PostInputControls to true (in FlyPostBackSettings). The default value is false.
You can customize other interaction settings by configuring the properties in FlyPostBackSettings, such as PostViewState etc.
In Example 1, the Model dropdownlist's data is populated based on selected Make through "PopulateModel()" client side call. Notes that the actual population happens in server side. View the aspx and cs source for more details.
In Example 1, the WebButton demonstrates tight integration between Intersoft controls around the FlyPostBack architecture. Notice that you can invoke the same ClientAction engine in the WebButton (see cs codes).
Programmatic updating model offers a more flexible way and faster performance to render changed contents compared to automatic model.
In Example 2, the right content which is a Panel server control, will be updated based on the selection in navigation pane. The data is retrieved from an xml file and mapped to the controls in server side code.
Example 2 also demonstrates the LoaderTemplate and built-in capabilities to display the loader during the busy status. Note that the loader UI is controlled automatically and does not require you to write any single codes.
